The villages of Saranac Lake and Lake Placid are nestled in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York. In addition to being surrounded by countless beautiful mountains, lakes and rivers, both offer a historical, cultural and artistic experience. Lake Placid, home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics also offers a rich Olympic history and experience. Saranac Lake and Lake Placid are a ten minute drive from each other on Route 86.
