Registration is open for the 51st Can-Am Rugby Tournament

Tournament Cost: $825 + processing fee

For each registered team, two games are guaranteed during the 2025 Can-Am Rugby Tournament. Please read all information on this page regarding registration & divisions. 

Additional games will depend upon the pool, bracket structure, and actual game results. The tournament’s success depends on teams putting forth a good-faith effort to play all assigned games, ensuring that pool and bracket play isn’t compromised by no-shows.

Refunds are only offered more than 45 days before the week (processing fee is not refundable) of the event. Any team that fails to play games during the tournament without notifying the tournament will be subject to a $250 security deposit when registering for a subsequent tournament and four registration years thereafter. The security deposit will be returned at the end of the tournament when the team has completed its game assigned for that year.

Can-Am Rugby is excited to announce that we have partnered with Match Facts to offer a state-of-the-art rugby tournament experience.

This year we are using Match Facts for registering and paying for your team. A team representative will need to create a Match Facts account and then create your club and team before registering. If you already have a Match Facts account with your club (if for example you play in the Pacific Northwest, New York or New England regions) you should reuse this account. If you have any problems with the registration process, please initially contact: registration@canamrugby.com.

TBD Technology is excited to provide our Match Facts registration, scoring and referee management systems to power the Can-Am Rugby Tournament. Match Facts was created by a rugby referee for the rugby community – we know where the pain points are, and we set out to reduce them through thoughtful application of technology. When choosing the level of competition, please use these to help determine a division of choice.

The Cam-Am Rugby Tournament committee reserves the right to move teams based on intake answers to help balance competition. The choice of each team’s preferred level of competition doesn’t guarantee their entrance into those brackets. Assignments to each division will only occur once all teams are entered. Winning or losing in a division in the previous year’s tournament subjects you to promotion or relegation for subsequent tournaments.

  • Premier (Men & Women)

    You think you could win the tournament! Guaranteed 3 games.

  • Club (Men & Women)

    This is a legitimate club that plays in a fall and/or spring season, or you are a social side with a competitive roster.

  • Social (Men & Women)

    This is our least competitive division. The final will not be on our main field or televised in any way.

50th Annual Can-Am Rugby Recap

This summer’s event was the largest and one of the most successful events we have ever hosted, The Can-Am Rugby Tournament is no longer just a rugby tournament, it has transformed into a major Tri-Lakes Community Event. This summer we hosted 120 teams averaging 22.5 players per team from 30 states and four Canadian provinces.
